Radio Communication (GMRS)

Description

What do you do if cell phone service is disrupted for days or even weeks? How do you stay informed? What if you need an ambulance, the fire department, or law enforcement? The Madison County Radio Club will be presenting information on the latest emergency radio communication system (GMRS) in Madison County. This system is relatively inexpensive and easy to use. The Madison County Radio Club works in conjunction with the Madison County Emergency Management Office during disasters. Members will help you select the proper radio to purchase and program your radio for Madison County. Join us as we develop a robust communication system throughout the county if cell phone service is disrupted.
